Matthias Gelber

Environmental Consultant

Matthias graduated with a master’s in environmental science from Brunel University in the UK and went on to start a successful environmental consulting company in 1999.

In 2008, he was voted “Greenest Person on the Planet”.

He also served as a Board Member of Solexel Malaysia Sdn Bhd in the solar industry for 4 years and is currently an advisor at the Global Sustainability Exchange (GSX).

Matthias is also an impactful speaker and trainer on environmental and sustainability issues. He has given talks in 42 countries worldwide and his engaging style of speaking is always very well received by diverse audiences including civil society, children, students, the public sector, and business people.

Dr. Laurie Glossop

Laurie has been a certified occupational hygienist since 1981, working initially with the state government regulator in Western Australia and finishing as the manager of the occupational hygiene and noise group.

He has been working as a consultant occupational hygienist in his own company, Glossop Consultancy, since 1992 and has consulted in just about every known occupational hazard including biological hazards.

He started the company Gelair Pty Ltd in 2008 which manufactures and sells products to control bacteria, mould and some viruses. All of the products have the active ingredient of tea tree oil; an Australian native plant that is known for its biocidal properties.

There are products for all types of situations including treatment of air and surfaces. Gelair has been sold to 140 countries around the world and is continuing to expand. All South East Asian countries have bought Gelair products with distributors in most countries.

Mitesh Kumar

M.sc (Environment Management) MBA CIEC CMC

Mitesh has more than 10 years of working experience as an EHS management consultant, site supervision and IAQ investigations including remediation planning and implementations.

He holds a MSc. Environmental Management from NUS, MBA (Finance & Business) from JCU and BSc. Biology & Chemistry from HPU.

Mitesh is also a Council-Certified Indoor Environmental Consultant (CIEC), Council Certified Microbial Consultant (CMC), ISO 14001:2015 EMS Auditor / Lead Auditor and ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health & Management System Auditor / Lead Auditor.

Ken Huang

Environmental Consultant

Ken is a lecturer at the NTU’s Public Admin Office.

He is also a Senior Consultant at the following companies:

  • Project Consultant in a domestic waste disposal company named CNNL in Shanghai, China.
  • Food Hygiene Consultant at BreadTalk Pte Ltd.
  • Project and Safety Consultant in a chemical and pest control company M/s Twin creation Pte Ltd.
  • Trainer and Assessor for the continuous training program in Singapore Institute of Training Education [ITE].
  • Providing and conducting ad-hoc food safety and hygiene documentations and programmes overseas like Jakarta during 2018 Asean games, Vietnam, China and etc.

Sven Bolomey

M.Eng (Environmental Engineering)

Sven’s specialty include Project Management and Project control (time, cost, quality),
Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Social Impact Assessment (SIA),
Expertise in Transportation, Mining, Energy, Urban Development and Civil Infrastructure sectors
Engineering design works ‐ conceptual design and feasibility studies.

Dr. Derrick Cheong

Refrigeration & Aircon Specialist

Derrick previously worked for Kajima Construction as an ACMV engineer, he completed projects such as Plaza Singapura, Cherry Hill, BP tower, and many other establishments.

After 5 years with Kajima, he joined ITE/MOE as a teaching lecturer and was under the Facility Building Services Department where he teaches Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Electrical services.

He stayed with ITE/MOE for 18 years before he set up a technical school in Jordan Middle East, Myanmar. Derrick also conducts teaching exchanges in Chicago USA, Melbourne Australia and Hong Kong VTE.

He is now running his own refrigeration cold room business, Yohokomo.

Jenson Mai

CPEng MBA REA CAP

Jenson is a senior professional engineer, a specialist in Energy & Carbon, Environment, Education & training, Mechanical engineering and Management consultancy.

He has particular interests in energy improvement, energy assessment, carbon audit and environment & social program and has been working in this field since 2008 serving clients in commercial sectors, small & medium enterprises, NGOs, Charities, Community based organizations and Government in Hong Kong.

So far, he has been completing a good number of jobs for carbon audit, energy audit, energy assessment, energy improvement, evaluation for green initiatives and solar power.

His track records include the successful completion of 4 large environmental community projects in which he led the “project design, building, management & transfer “ in various programs of Carbon reduction, City Farming and Household energy & water saving and more importantly the successful project funds seeking from the private donor, charities and government.

George Yu

CEM CAP

George is an experienced professional engineer & project manager specializing in Carbon Audit, Building Energy Assessment, Energy Improvement works, Project Management for Electrical & Mechanical Engineering, Building Services and Community based environmental education & action programs.

He started his engineering business in lighting energy improvement in 2008 and later added on carbon audit, building energy audit & energy assessment, green initiative evaluation, energy improvement works and project management into his environmental scope of work.

His professional experiences and continuous studies in carbon and energy made him receive the professional qualifications of Carbon Auditor Professional & Certified Energy Manager from the Association of Energy Engineer and the memberships from Hong Kong Association of Energy Engineers and Hong Kong Institution of Building and Services Engineers.

Charlie Leduc

CPI CMI CMR

With nearly a decade of experience heading the Mold Busters team, Charles Leduc is a certified professional inspector, a certified mold inspector and remediator as well as author, speaker and Chief Operations Officer at the company.

His list of accreditations goes on and on, with his latest achievement being The Residential Mold Removal Guidelines and A Homeowner’s Guide to Preventing Mold Growth.

The former of these publications aims to simplify and redefine today’s existing standards for mold abatement; the latter offers clear, easy and practical steps that homeowners can take to protect themselves and their homes against mold growth.

These guides are part of the industry’s most comprehensive written works on mold removal and mold prevention.

Tan Hooi Ting

CIE (Council-certified Indoor Environmentalist)

Hooi Ting is a Certified Indoor Environmentalist (CIE) accredited by the American Council for Accredited Certification (ACAC). During her time as an environmentalist, she has assessed and provided consultation on a variety of projects involving mould inspection, sampling and remediation across many commercial and domestic buildings in Singapore. She holds Bachelor of Engineering (Environmental Engineering) from National University of Singapore. She is also a member of Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA).

Gao Hong

CIE (Council-certified Indoor Environmentalist)

Gao Hong is an Environmental Engineer and Council-certified Indoor Environmentalist (CIE) at AOM Environmentalist.

As an undergraduate, she served a 6-month internship at a government water reclamation plant to research ways to optimize operations in the wastewater treatment process. She further spent a year in university studying about optimal operating conditions of membrane bioreactor systems.

Upon graduating with a degree in Environmental Engineering at National University of Singapore, Gao Hong joined AOM where she worked with various stakeholders from different industries to solve their indoor environmental problems through site inspection, testing, evaluation and remediation.

Cynthia Lin

CIE (Council-certified Indoor Environmentalist)

Cynthia holds a Master’s degree in Marine Science.

She was a researcher at the National Museum of Marine Science and Technology and National Sun Yat Sen University in Taiwan, her major research was focused on Marine Microbiology and Molecular Biology.
